JSJ -- Deep Love 9
JSJ is Jondi and Spesh (from Qool / Looq records) and Jerry Bonham. A few years back they recorded a track together called Deep Love 9, which includes a sample of a woman repeating the words "waves of love". It is a very lovely track.
Some years ago when I was checking out movies from my favorite local library branch and I was shocked to accidentally discover the source of the sample that JSJ used. Here is the whole quote...
"So little? So little did you say? Why if there is nothing else there is applause. I've listened backstage to people applaud. It's like waves of love."
This quote was spoken by Anne Baxter playing Eve Harrington in the 1950 classic All About Eve (which received fourteen Academy Award nominations, for which it won six Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director). Truely a great film that I highly recommend, as well as the JSJ track.
